Woot to Dave Ramsey and I love my husband. I wouldn't have the vision I do without them. We do it all together: budgeting, grocery shopping, affirming that the huge checks we're writing should indeed be written.
Tonight Mark and I worked our second month's budget. Check it: we paid off 1/6 of our car this evening. We will be done paying off the car by May.
Two scenarios could occur over the course of the next 2 years. One: we don't get pregnant and pay off our debt in less than a year, save up for a house, and fully fund our Emergency Fund. Two: we get pregnant, pay off all our debt, save up for a house and continue to fund our Emergency Fund. Either way, give it three years and we have the potential to have no debt, own a home, $10,000 in the bank and niños.
Gracias a Dios, no? I am extremely thankful we are American and that Abraham had faith.
