It harkens Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles. He held it in and held it in. Now, my understanding is that David didn't give way to his superhuman abilities while dwelling in Gath. But he saved, "neither man nor woman alive?" I mean, it sounds suspiciously like he was superhuman, defender of all mankind.
